Janakpur, Dhanusha – World Hindu Council of Nepal organizes Rangoli Competition and Lamp Lighting Ceremony at Janaki Temple
In celebration of the annual festival of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the World Hindu Council of Nepal organized a Rangoli competition and a lamp lighting ceremony at the Janaki Temple in Janakpur today.
To mark the occasion, 125,000 lamps were lit at the Janaki Temple, symbolizing the grandeur of the Shri Ram Temple’s anniversary. The council stated that the event was aimed at raising public awareness on the history, significance, and contemporary relevance of the temple’s construction.
A major highlight of the event was the screening of a documentary on the history of the Ram Temple, presented using modern technology. The documentary was showcased at the Janaki Temple premises, with local residents and representatives from various organizations in attendance.
The council emphasized the importance of remembering the struggles and sacrifices made during the construction of the Shri Ram Temple, and called on all citizens of Janakpur to participate in making the celebration grand and prosperous.
